Through partnerships with schools, families, and local leaders, Rise Again Jamaica Incorporated turns community support into practical, measurable impact across Jamaica. We are a young organization. Our impact figures reflect completed outreach supported by our records. Every figure below is something we did, at a named school, on a known date.
May 2026, Maroon Town, St. James
Hurricane Melissa recovery, Chatsworth Primary and Infant School.
- Food distribution for 50 students and their families as part of Hurricane Melissa recovery
- Graduation fees covered for seven students at the school
- One home damaged by Hurricane Melissa rebuilt in St. James
- Partnership established with the principal, teachers and school staff
July 2026, Mount Salem, Montego Bay, St. James
Clothing distributed from seven barrels alongside a community food distribution, serving more than 100 families.
July 2026, Trelawny
One barrel of clothing donated to Prospect Community Church in Trelawny for distribution to families in its community.
September 7, 2026, back to school giveaway
Our second mission to Chatsworth Primary and Infant School in Maroon Town, St. James, and to Giddy Hall Primary and Infant School in St. Elizabeth, whose students and staff have shared facilities in Middle Quarters since Hurricane Melissa damaged their school. More than 150 students received back to school supplies, exercise books, pencils, folders, rulers, erasers, sharpeners, crayons and markers, along with individuals from the surrounding communities.
Michelle Ramundo and Floyd Foster, our coordinator in Jamaica, also sat with the students and talked with them, time the school described in its thanks as a psychosocial session. After Hurricane Melissa, children carried more than empty stomachs back into the classroom.

How we measure
We count what we can verify. Distributions are recorded on site with school or community leadership present, backed by signed partner agreements, distribution logs, receipts and photographs. Totals are updated after each outreach rather than estimated in advance, and every figure on this page comes from a completed mission at a named location on a known date.
Four missions completed. Eight barrels of clothing and supplies shipped. Work delivered in St. James, Trelawny and St. Elizabeth.
