Our Mission and Vision
At Rise Again Jamaica Incorporated, our mission is to reduce food insecurity and strengthen underserved schools and communities across Jamaica by ensuring children have access to nutritious meals, educational support, and essential resources. We believe that no child should have to learn on an empty stomach. Through our school nutrition initiatives, community partnerships, and donor support, we work to remove barriers that prevent children from reaching their full potential.
While food security remains the heart of our mission, we also respond to the broader needs of underserved communities by providing emergency relief, educational assistance, clothing, and other essential support during times of crisis and hardship.
Together, we are helping children thrive, strengthening communities, and creating lasting hope, one family, one school, and one community at a time.
Our Primary Focus: Ending Food Insecurity

School Lunch Initiatives
Rise Again Jamaica Incorporated’s school lunch program serves as a dual anchor: it addresses immediate childhood hunger while helping children remain enrolled, attend consistently, and recover educationally during post-hurricane disruptions.

Education Support
A child's future should never be determined by their family's financial situation. At Rise Again Jamaica Incorporated, we believe that education is the most powerful tool we can give a child.
Through our Graduation Sponsorship Program, we cover graduation fees for students in underserved communities across St. James, Jamaica, so that no child is denied their certificate simply because their family cannot afford the fee. In Jamaica, students who cannot pay graduation fees are often turned away at the ceremony, losing access to the credentials they worked years to earn and the opportunities that come with them.
We work directly with local schools including Chatsworth Primary and Infant School in St. James, identifying students whose families are facing financial hardship and stepping in to cover what they cannot. Our sponsorships are personal. We know the names of the students we help. We show up for them.
When you sponsor a student's graduation, you are not just paying a fee. You are opening a door. A sponsored student today becomes a leader, a provider, and an inspiration to their community tomorrow.
Ways you can help: Sponsor a Graduation and cover one student's graduation fee so they can walk across that stage and receive the certificate they earned. Every sponsorship makes a direct and lasting difference.
Clean, focused, and true to what you actually do.

Emergency School Support
Emergency School Support
When disasters and emergencies disrupt education, Rise Again Jamaica Incorporated provides targeted support to help schools continue serving their students. From emergency meal assistance and essential supplies to school recovery efforts, we work alongside educators and communities to ensure children can return to learning as quickly and safely as possible.

Hurricane Relief
When disaster strikes, every minute matters. Rise Again Jamaica Incorporated mobilizes quickly to get emergency food, water, clothing, bedding, and essential supplies directly to families in St. James, Jamaica who have lost everything to hurricanes and natural disasters.
Our founder Michelle Ramundo grew up in Jamaica and survived Hurricane Gilbert as a child. She knows what it feels like to watch a storm take everything from a family overnight. That experience is what drives her to respond immediately and personally every time disaster hits.
Our Hurricane Melissa relief effort is currently underway, supporting families across St. James who suffered devastating losses. We are on the ground assessing damage, delivering supplies, and coordinating home rebuilding support for the most vulnerable families in affected communities.
Hurricane relief is urgent, unpredictable, and costly. When a storm hits, we need to move fast. Your donation to our Hurricane Relief fund ensures that we always have the resources ready to respond when families need us most.
No family should face the aftermath of a disaster alone. With your support, we will always be there.
